Have you ever wanted to learn the Charleston? We have the perfect course for you! Join us for our new 4 week Beginners Charleston Course. In this course, you will learn the fundamentals of 1930s Charleston rhythm, side by side variations and lots of fun moves to shine with your partner.

Focusing on 1930s Partnered Charleston, this 4-week course will build up your moves with dancers of a similar level. Our courses cost £24 for the 4 weeks (29 September, 06 October, 13 October and 20 October). Our concession price is £19 for the 4 weeks - available to students, pensioners and those on benefits.

Our beginners courses start from the very beginning, introducing you to dances from the 1920s, 30s and 40s. Our friendly teachers will break down the footwork before introducing you to some fun moves!

We encourage you to attend all classes within the course as we will build on our progress each week.

Please reserve your ticket online in advance; we are not currently able to admit attendees on the door.

This is a rotating partnered course. If you prefer not to rotate partners, we fully support your decision but ask that you please sign-up with a partner you feel comfortable dancing with.

Please check our current Covid-19 precautions on our website: https://www.yorklindy.co.uk/code-of-conduct When social dancing, if a person is already wearing a mask, please match them by wearing a mask to dance with them.
